RESOLUTION
IBE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
THAT the Mayor of the City of Lubbock is hereby authorized and directed to
execute for and on behalf of the City of Lubbock a Resolution for submission of
electronically reportable arrest and fingerprints to the Texas Department of Public Safety
for the LiveScan system, by and between the Lubbock Police Department and Lubbock
County Juvenile Justice Center, and related documents. Said Agreement is attached
hereto and incorporated in this Resolution as if fully set forth herein and shall be included
in the minutes of the Council.

AGREEMENT
This Agreement (the "Agreement") is entered into on this 6th day of
March , 2012, between the City of Lubbock, Texas (the "City"), a Texas Home Rule
Municipal Corporation, and Lubbock County Juvenile Justice Center, a governmental
body (the "Entity").
WHEREAS Lubbock Police Department recently purchased a Mentalix LiveScan
system (the "system") and will in the future submit electronically all reportable arrest &
fingerprints directly to the Texas Department of Public Safety for processing, and
WHEREAS, the Lubbock County Juvenile Justice Center desires to utilize the
system; NOW THERFORE:
1. Lubbock Police Department will assign a unique Tracking Control Number (TCN) to
all reportable arrest submissions.
2. Effective March 6, 2012 , Lubbock County Juvenile Justice Center will no
longer submit arrest information to Texas DPS on behalf of Lubbock Police
Department.
3. The City's address and numbers for the purposes of notice are: Sergeant Robert
Ferguson, Lubbock Police Department, email: RFer usongmail.ci.lubbock.tx.us,
(806) 775-2779.
4. Lubbock County Juvenile Justice Center abide by all local, state and federal laws and
polices related to the use of the System.
