RESOLUTION
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
THAT the Mayor of the City of Lubbock is hereby authorized and directed to
execute for and on behalf of the City of Lubbock,Amendment No. 1 to that certain Lease
Agreement dated April 13,2006,by and between the City of Lubbock and Chaparral.
Inc., and related documents.Said Amendment is attached hereto and incorporated in this
resolution as if fully set forth herein and shall be included in the minutes of the City
Council.

KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
COUNTY OF LUBBOCK §
AMENDMENT #1 TO LEASE AGREEMENT
This Agreement is entered into by the CITY OF LUBBOCK (referred to herein
as Lessor), a Home Rule Municipality of Lubbock County, Texas, and CHAPARRAL,
INC.(referred to herein as Lessee).
WITNESSETH:
WHEREAS,Lessor and Lessee executed a Lease Agreement on the 13th day of
April,2006,in which Lessee was granted certain rights and privileges with respect to
commercial aviation,retail sales and general activities of a fixed base operation and
aircraft sales;and
WHEREAS,Lessee desires to lease an additional 1,023 square feet in order to
place a storage building on an existing 240 square foot concrete slab north of the
Executive Terminal Building;
NOW THEREFORE,Lessor and Lessee agree as follows:
I.
Article One, 1.01 Leased Premises is amended by adding the following to the list of
Leased Premises:
"E.Lessee-owned Storage Building:Land area 1.023 sq. ft."
II.
Article Three, 3.01, C.Ground/Land Area for Hangars is amended to read as follows:
C.GROUND/LAND AREA FOR HANGARS:
Ground rental for adjacent land area described in Article I,Paragraph 1.01 hereof and
shown on Exhibit A thereto as follows:
1.Land Area - Hangar Building #108:26.132 sq. ft. @ $0.1647 per sq. ft.
per year ($4,303.94 annually;S358.66 monthly)

Land Area- Hangar Building #302: 24,784 sq. ft. @ 0.1647 per sq. ft. per
year ($4,081.92 annually;$340.16 monthly)
Land Area- Lessee-owned T-hangar:1,170 sq. ft. @ $0.1647 per sq. ft.
per year ($192.70 annually;$16.06 monthly)
LandArea-Lessee-owned Storage Building:1,023 sq. ft.@ $0.1647 per
sq. ft. per year ($168.49 annually; $14.04 monthly)
Such ground rental shall be payable each month in the amount of THREE
HUNDRED FIFTY-EIGHT AND 66/100 DOLLARS (S358.66)per month on Building
#108,THREE HUNDRED FORTY AND 16/100 DOLLARS (S340.16)per month on
Building #302,SIXTEEN AND 06/100 DOLLARS (S16.06)per month on Lessee-
owned T-hangar, and FOURTEEN AND 04/100 DOLLARS (S14.04)per month
Lessee-owned Storage Building, which sums are approximately equal to one-twelfth
(1/12)of the annual ground rental due hereunder.
III.
All terms and provisions of the original Lease Agreement shall remain in full
force and effect as originally written and are binding on the City of Lubbock and
Chaparral, Inc., except as amended herein. This amendment shall be effective as of April
1.2012.
