HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution - 2013-R0420 - Dedication Deed - Tim Cole Memorial Park - 12/12/2013Resolution No.2013-R0420 Item No.6.2 RESOLUTION BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK: THAT the Mayor of the City of Lubbock BE and is hereby authorized and directed to execute for and on behalf of the City of Lubbock a Dedication Deed in connection with certain real property as described therein, and all related documents, to dedicate said real property as a City of Lubbock Park, and to name said park property "Tim Cole Memorial Park." Said Dedication Deed is attached hereto and incorporated in this Resolution as if fully set forth herein and shall be included in the minutes of the Council. NOW, THEREFORE, KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS: That for and in consideration of the special benefits AND public purposes conferred to the residents of the City of Lubbock and to the community at large, the undersigned does hereby designate and dedicate the above - described Property as a City of Lubbock Park, and does so to the PUBLIC for PUBLIC USE FOREVER; and further does by these presents impress the name of "Tim Cole Memorial Park" upon the Property for the correct reference and description thereof, and does hereby adopt the name hereinabove stated, and impress the same upon the said land as part of this dedication.
