RESOLUTION
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
THAT the Mayor of the City of Lubbock is hereby authorized and directed to execute for
and on behalf of the City of Lubbock, a Dedication Deed, and related documents. Said
Dedication Deed is attached hereto and incorporated in this resolution as if fully set forth herein
and shall be included in the minutes of the City Council.

DEDICATORY CERTIFICATE
THE STATE OF TEXAS §
COUNTY OF LUBBOCK §
This is to certify that THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS, a Texas Home -Rule
Municipality, is the owner of a tract of land described as follows, to -wit:
That certain real property located in Lubbock County, Texas, and being
further and more particularly described and set forth in Exhibit "A".
And the undersigned wishes to plat and dedicate the above described property,
designating streets, alleys, easements (surface and/or underground), and other public
properties shown in accordance with the attached map, prepared by OJD Engineering,
LP, Registered Professional Land Surveyor No. 6460, on the 16`h day of June, 2015, and
approved by the Planning Commission of the City of Lubbock on the 6`h day of August,
2015, and desiring to have said property platted, dedicated and duly filed for record as
required by law, all as shown on the attached map;
NOW, THEREFORE, KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS: That for and
in consideration of the premises and the special benefits to the remainder of the property
in the area, the undersigned does hereby DEDICATE all the streets, alleys, easements
(surface and/or underground), and other public properties shown and designated upon
said map to the PUBLIC for PUBLIC USE FOREVER; and by these presents does
impress the name of "TRACTS A & B FIRE STATION #1 AN ADDITION to the city
of Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas" upon said property for the correct reference and
description thereto by tract as indicated upon the attached map, and the undersigned does
hereby adopt the name hereinabove stated and impresses the same upon said land,
incorporating said map as a part of this dedication.

DEDICATION THEREOF RECORDED IN VOLUME 359, PAGE 40, DEED RECORDS OF LUBBOCK
COUNTY, TEXAS AND LOTS 2-3 & 29-35, BLOCK 2, DUPREE ADDITION TO THE CITY OF
LUBBOCK, ACCORDING TO THE MAP, PLAT AND/OR DEDICATION THEREOF RECORDED IN
VOLUME 18, PAGE 463, DEED RECORDS OF LUBBOCK COUNTY, TEXAS, being a total
of 2.31 acres, and being more particularly described by metes and bounds as
follows:
BEGINNING at an "X" cut in concrete in the South right-of-way line of 19th
Street, as recorded in Volume 323, Page 425, Deed Records of Lubbock
County, Texas and the West right-of-way line of Texas Avenue, as recorded
in Volume 18, Page 463; Volume 249, Pages 44-46, 48, & 51; Volume 447, Page
42; and Volume 444, Page 194, all of the Deed Records of Lubbock County,
Texas, at the Northeast corner of said Kuykendall Tract for the Northeast
corner of this tract.
THENCE S. 01" 18' 41" W., contiguous with said right-of-way line of Texas
Avenue, a distance of 129.97 feet to a 1/2" iron rod with blue plastic cap
inscribed "CHT RPLS 6460" (herein after referred to as an OJD-CHT cap) set
for an "ell" corner of this tract.
THENCE N. 88" 14' 55" W., contiguous with said right-of-way line of Texas
Avenue, a distance of 3.28 feet to an OJD-CHT cap set for an "ell" corner
of this tract.
THENCE S. 01" 45' 05" W., contiguous with said right-of-way line of Texas
Avenue, a distance of 210.66 feet to an OJD-CHT cap set at the Northeast
corner of Lot 4, Block 2, said Dupree Addition, for the most Easterly
Southeast corner of this tract.
THENCE N. 88" 14' 55" W., contiguous with the North line of said Lot 4, a
distance of 121.60 feet to an OJD-CHT cap set at the current Southeast

distance of 106.60 feet to a point in the East right-of-way line of Avenue
