It is understood that the AHJ is not requiring any additional documents for a new or change to the fire alarm permit (by others). Project scope is based on the Lubbock Preston Smith International Airport FPI-0 through FPl-6 & FP2-0 through FP2-4, drawings provided by DFW Consulting Group, Inc. project number 14007 dated 2/11/2016, and this proposal along with the following Inclusions, Qualifications, Assumptions and Clarifications and Exclusions. Additional Fire Alarm System: Provide 8 hours of a state licensed fire alarm technician to assist in terminating the fire alarm devices with electrician contractor as required by AHJ and Texas Administrative Code Title 28. Part 1, Chapter 34, Subchapter F, Rule 34.606, #8. Provide (for installation by others) the following a new Honeywell XLS3000 Fire Alarm System (FAS) including: • (7) Control Modules. • (9) Intelligent Pull Stations. • (7) Heat Detectors. • (5) Ceiling Smoke Detectors. • (4) Strobes. Note: Per spec section 0160 00 — I, 2.1, A. no existing products shall be re -used. 2. Provide technician labor for software load and final checkout with AHJ and electrical contractor. 3. Provide as -built and closeout documentation. 4. Includes state and local approval fees (permits and associated fees by others). 5. Includes Honeywell standard FAS products and a (1) year warranty. 6. Per the General Instructions, Item 20.20.2: TEXAS STATE SALES TAX 20.1 This contract is issued by an organization which qualifies for exemption provisions pursuant to provisions of Article 20.04 of the Texas Limited Sales, Excise and Use Tar Act. 20.2 The Contractor must obtain (provided to Honeywell at NTP) a limited sales, excise and use tax permit which shall enable him to buy the materials to be incorporated into the work without paying the tax at the time of purchase. It is agreed that Honeywell PM will attend project meetings by phone and only one site visit is expected before completion of the project. 2. Electricians must coordinate termination of fire alarm devices and panels with Honeywell. It is required by the Lubbock Fire Marshal's office that a licensed fire alarm technician be onsite while fire alarm devices and panels are installed. 3. All work to be done during regular business hours. 4. Please reference the proposal number above on any subcontract or purchase order. 5. Any contract provided to Honeywell will include all language in this proposal. 6. HONEYWELL WILL NOT PROCEED WITH ANY WORK (Engineering, material ordering, on -site rough in, etc.) WITHOUT A FULLY EXECUTED CONTRACT. 7. WRITTEN DIRECTION WILL BE REQUIRED FOR ANY CHANGES OR VARIATIONS FROM THE CONSTRUCTION DRAWINGS OR SPECIFICATIONS. Additional Clarification: 1. This addition will add 30 calendar days to the Honeywell part of the schedule after the completion of electrical install. 2. A copy of the changes, marked in a different color, will be submitted to the Fire Marshal's office as "As Builts" at the conclusion of the project, as per Lubbock Fire Marshal's Office. 3. Any scope of work changes required by the AH1 and/or Owner that is above and beyond the specifications and drawings will need to be addressed by bulletin and separate proposal. 4. Project includes coordination with other trades. Period of performance is contingent on the timely work of other trades. 5. Contractor will allow sufficient time in the schedule, after electrical installation, to allow for checkout by Honeywell prior to scheduled completion date. 6. AutoCad drawings in the proper version will be required and provided upon notice to proceed, by the Architect or Owner, at no charge to Honeywell. 7. Honeywell reserves the right to negotiate mutually acceptable terms and conditions. Exclusions: 1. Any demo work. (Demo work provided by electrical installer) 2. Any Ethernet wiring. 3.
