AN ORDINANCE ABANDONING AND CLOSING TWO DRA
EASEMENTS LOCATED IN LOT 2, COMMANDERS ADDITION TO IMAGE
OF LUBBOCK, LUBBOCK COUNTY, TEXAS AND MORE PARTICULARLYCITY
DESCRIBED IN THE BODY OF THIS ORDINANCE; DIRECTING ENGINEER TOM
ARK THE OFFICIAL MTHE CITY

PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION. USE; AND
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the easements as hereinafter desc '

METES AND BOUNDS DESCRIPTION of a portion of a surface drainage easement to be closed located in Lot 2,
Commanders Addition to the City of Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas, being further described as follows:
BEGINNING at a 1/2" iron rod with cap found in the center -line of a 40 foot surface drainage easement according to
the map, plat and/or dedication deed thereof recorded in Volume 1355, Page 622, Deed Records of Lubbock
County, Texas, and being the Southwest corner of Lot 5, Commanders Addition according to the map, plat and/or
dedication deed thereof recorded in Volume 1355, Page 622, Deed Records of Lubbock County, Texas;
THENCE S. 89059' E., along the south line of said Lot 5 at 275.00 feet pass the Southeast comer of Lot 5 and the
Southwest corner of Lot 6, Commanders Addition according to the map, plat and/or dedication deed thereof
recorded in Volume 1355, Page 622, Deed Records of Lubbock County, Texas for a total distance of 352.62 feet to
a point in the South line of said Lot 6 for the Northeast corner of this tract;
