PARTIAL PAVING RELEASE RESOLUTION VOL 9250PACE182
THE STATE OF TEXAS § 2M39
COUNTY OF LUBBOCK §
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 2001-RO280 passed by the City Council on July 12,
2001, determined the necessity for making certain alley improvements as therein
designated and Resolution No. 2001-RO319 passed by the City Council on August 30,
2001, determined the necessity for making certain street improvements as therein
designated, which respective Resolution was filed as a matter of record in Volume 7601,
Page 7 of the Official Real Property Records of Lubbock County, Texas, reference to
which record is hereby made for all pertinent purposes; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lubbock finds and determines that
the liens and/or clouds against certain abutting properties created by the filing of such
Resolution should be released against such properties as are hereinafter described for the
reasons hereinafter stated; NOW THEREFORE:
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
I.
THAT the following described properties in Unit Number A-462-42, East-West
alley between 10`h Street and llth Street from Salem Avenue East to Quaker Avenue are
hereby released and quitclaimed because no assessments were made against such
properties after a public hearing thereon as a result of the property owners executing a
voluntary paving agreement to wit:
Rushland Park, Lot 3, Block 20;
West Gate Drive, Block 17, West 1 10'of Lot 12;
West Gate Drive, Block 17, East 10' of Lot 12 and Lot 13;
West Gate Drive, Block 17, West 110' of Lot 14;

hereby released and quitclaimed because no assessments were made against such

VIII.
THAT all of the properties to which this partial release is applicable as
hereinabove described are located within the corporate limits of the City of Lubbock,
Lubbock County, Texas, and this Release is only applicable to the properties hereinabove
specifically described and released. All interests and/or liens not specifically herein
released are hereby retained by the City of Lubbock.
