RESOLUTION
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
THAT the City Manager or his designee BE and is hereby authorized to forward
a list of possible conflicts of interest of City Council members voting on the 2001
allocation of Housing and Urban Development for evaluation. Said list is attached hereto
as Exhibit "A" and incorporated in this Resolution as if fully set forth herein and shall be
included in the minutes of the City Council.
Passed by the City Council this 14th day of June 2001.

City Council—Conflicts of Interest
The following information will outline the potential Conflicts of Interest for council
members and their families. Those identified relate directly to the agencies that
submitted funding requests during the city's annual allocation process for CDBG,
HOME, and ESG funds. This list will be forwarded to HUD for an evaluation with
a request for an exception.
Councilperson T. J. Patterson
Councilperson Patterson serves as a board member for Communities in Schools.
CouncifRerson Marc McDougal
• Councilperson McDougal serves as a board member for Community in
Schools.
• His brother, Mike McDougal, serves on the board of Broadway Festivals/41h
Corps.
His father, Delbert McDougal, is currently fund raising for the South Plains
Food Bank.
