RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, new City park facilities have been constructed which require a
change in the location where various sports activities will be conducted; and
WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Board have recommended that the Athletic
Facilities License Agreement be amended to accommodate the new facilities; and
WHEREAS, the City Council deems it to be in the best interest of the citizens of
the City of Lubbock to amend said Athletic Facilities License Agreement as
recommended by the Parks and Recreation Board; NOW THEREFORE:
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
THAT the Mayor of the City of Lubbock is hereby authorized and directed to
execute for and on behalf of the City of Lubbock an Amendment No. 1 with regard to the
Athletic Facility License Agreement executed March 5, 2007, for various sports
programs by and between the City of Lubbock and various baseball, softball, soccer and
other user groups, a copy of which Amendment No. 1 and any associated documents are
attached hereto and made a part of this Resolution as if fully copied herein in detail.

AMENDMENT NO. 1
THE STATE OF TEXAS §
COUNTY OF LUBBOCK
Resolution No. 2008-RO415
WHEREAS, new City park facilities have been constructed which require a
change in the location where various sports activities will be conducted; and
WHEREAS, the City Council deems it to be in the best interest of the citizens of
the City of Lubbock to amend the Athletic Facility License Agreement entered into by
the City of Lubbock and various sports and athletic teams on March 5, 2007; NOW
THEREFORE:
WITNESSETH:
SECTION 1. THAT "Exhibit C" of the Athletic Facility License Agreement
entered into by the City of Lubbock and various sports and athletic teams on March 5,
2007, is hereby amended with regard to the location of sports activities for the following
named parties:
MLK Little League
E. 19th and Aspen Drive
Northwest Little League
911 N. University
Lubbock Junior Baseball
Junior League Field, Lubbock Youth Sports
Complex, FM, 1585 and Milwaukee Ave.
Midwest Little League
Lubbock Youth Sports Complex,
FM 1585 and Milwaukee Ave.
Lubbock Youth Softball
One Quad (four fields)
Lubbock Youth Sports Complex,
FM 1585 and Milwaukee Ave.
South Plains Girls Fast Pitch
Two Quads (eight fields)
Lubbock Youth Sports Complex,
FM 1585 and Milwaukee Ave.
SECTION 2. THAT "Exhibit B" of the Athletic Facility License Agreement
entered into by the City of Lubbock and various sports and athletic teams on March 5,
2007, is hereby amended with regard to application of the Athletic Field Signage
advertising policy by adding the following facility to Paragraph II:
Youth Sports Complex
SECTION 3. THAT Section 11.02 of the Athletic Facility License Agreement
entered into by the City of Lubbock and various sports and athletic teams on March 5,
2007, is hereby amended to read as follows:
"Section 11.02. The Licensee must contact Lubbock Power and Light for electric
service at all facilities with the exception of the Youth Sports Complex. At the Youth
Sports Complex, the licensee must contact South Plains Electric Cooperative for electric
service. The electric meter shall be registered to the Licensee. It shall be the sole
responsibility of the Licensee to make all payments and remain in good standing with the
electric service provider.
SECTION 4. This Amendment No. 1 may be executed in counterpart and the
signature of any party hereto on any true and correct copy of this Amendment No. 1 shall
be construed as a signature of that party on all true and correct copies hereof.
This Amendment No. 1 to the March 5, 2007, Athletic Facility License
Agreement is executed this 25thday of November , 2008.
