RESOLUTION
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
THAT the City Manager of the City of Lubbock BE and is hereby authorized and
directed to execute for and on behalf of the City of Lubbock a notice to terminate the
Professional Services Agreement between the City of Lubbock and Gelber & Associates,
effective February 28, 2002, with said notice attached hereto, which shall be spread upon
the minutes of the Council and as spread upon the minutes of this Council shall constitute
and be a part of this Resolution as if fully copied herein in detail.

RE: Professional Services Contract between City of Lubbock and Gelber
& Associates Corp.
Dear Mr. Gelber,
The City of Lubbock has elected to terminate the Professional Services Contract
between the City of Lubbock and Gelber & Associates Corp., dated October 12, 2000
(the "Contract"). Pursuant to Article III of the Contract, this termination will be effective
the thirty-first day after Gelber & Associates has received this letter.
Any power of attorney or other authorization previously granted by the City of
Lubbock to Gelber & Associates is hereby revoked and the City requests that you provide
a list of all corporations, companies, businesses and/or individuals which may have relied
upon such authorization or which you have contacted under such authorization. Please
return to the following address any proprietary or confidential information or materials of
the City of Lubbock and/or Lubbock Power & Light in the possession of Gelber and
Associates.
