AN ORDINANCE ABANDONING AND CLOSING TWO WATER LINE
IEMENTS AND AN ACCESS, GARBAGE SERVICE, UNDERGROUND
LITY EASEMENT, DRAINAGE EASEMENT AND BLANKET GARBAGE
VICE AND COLLECTION EASEMENTS AND BLANKET UNDERGROUND
LITY AND TRANSFORMER PAD EASEMENTS LOCATED ON TRACT E,
.ARIS ESTATES, AN ADDITION TO THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, LUB13OCK
JNTY, TEXAS AND MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED IN THE BODY OF
S ORDINANCE; DIRECTING THE CITY ENGINEER TO MARK THE
ICIAL MAPS OF THE CITY TO REFLECT SAID ABANDONMENT AND
)SING; PROVIDING A SAVINGS CLAUSE; AND PROVIDING FOR
SLICATION.
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the easements as hereinafter described in
body of this Ordinance are no longer needed for easement purposes and for public
and it would be in the public interest to close, vacate and abandon the same for

i IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TI IF. CITY OF LUBBOCK:
SECTION I. THAT the easements as hereinafter described shall BE and the same
hereby closed, vacated and abandoned for easement purposes and for public use, such
>cments being more particularly described in Exhibit "A" and "B".
SECTION 2. THAT the City Engineer is hereby authorized and directed to mark
official maps of the City of Lubbock to reflect said abandonment and closing,
awing the number of this Ordinance and the dale of its final passage.
SECTION 3. THAT should any section, paragraph, sentence, phrase, clause or
trd of this Ordinance be declared unconstitutional or invalid for any reason, the
nainder of this Ordinance shall not be affected thereby.
SECTION 4. THAT the City Secretary of the City of Lubbock is hereby
Lhorized and directed to cause publication of the descriptive caption of this Ordinance
an alternative method provided by law.
