HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution - 2020-R0083 - Quitclaim Deed - Thomas Eddy & Jeffrey Pat Mcneill - 03_10_2020Resolution No. 2020-R0083 Item No. 6.10 March 10, 2020 RESOLUTION BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK: THAT the Mayor of the City of Lubbock is hereby authorized and directed to execute for and on behalf of the City of Lubbock, a Quitclaim Deed associated with a portion of 36th Street, as described in Volume 447, Page 256, and Volume 449, Page 113 of the Deed Records of Lubbock County, Texas, by and between the City of Lubbock and Thomas Eddy & Jeffrey Pat McNeill, and related documents. Said portion of 36th Street was previously closed, vacated, and abandoned by City of Lubbock Ordinance No. 2020-00003, passed on second reading by the City Council of the City of Lubbock on January 28, 2020. Said Quitclaim Deed is attached hereto and incorporated in this resolution as if fully set forth herein and shall be included in the minutes of the City Council.
