EASEMENTS, LOCATED IN TRACT A-1, CITY VIEW CAMPUS ADDITION, �s
LUBBOCK COUNTY, TEXAS, AS RECORDED IN COUNTY CLERK'S FILE NO.
2017011315, AND LOCATED IN UNSUBDIVIDED LAND IN SECTION 37, BLOCK AK,
LUBBOCK COUNTY, TEXAS, AS RECORDED IN COUNTY CLERK'S FILE NO. �..
2017012155 OF THE OFFICIAL PUBLIC RECORDS OF LUBBOCK COUNTY, TEXAS,
WHICH IS MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED IN THE BODY OF THIS
ORDINANCE; DIRECTING THE CITY ENGINEER TO MARK THE OFFICIAL MAPS
OF THE CITY TO REFLECT SAID ABANDONMENT AND CLOSING; PROVIDING A
SAVINGS CLAUSE; AND PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION. �.
WHEREAS,the City Council finds that the easements hereinafter described in the body
of this Ordinance are no longer needed for easement purposes and for public use; and it would _
be in the public interest to close, vacate and abandon the same for easement purposes and for
public use; NOW THEREFORE:
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
SECTION 1. TIAT the easements as hereinafter described shall BE and the same are
hereby closed, vacated and abandoned for easement purposes and for public use, such
easements being more particularly described in the attached Exhibit"A."
SECTION 2. THAT the City Engineer is hereby authorized and directed to mark the
official maps of the City of Lubbock to reflect said abandonment and closing, showing the
number of this Ordinance and the date of its final passage.
SECTION 3. THAT should any section, paragraph, sentence, phrase, clause or word
of this Ordinance be declared unconstitutional or invalid for any reason, the remainder of this
Ordinance shall not be affected thereby.
SECTION 4. THAT the City Secretary of the City of Lubbock is hereby authorized
and directed to cause publication of the descriptive caption of this Ordinance as an alternative
method provided by law.
AND IT IS SO ORDERED.

described as Tract 11 in County Clerk File Number(CCFN)2018009163, Official Public Records of Lubbock
County,Texas(OPRLCT),Tract"A-1",City View Campus,an Addition to the City of Lubbock, Lubbock
County,Texas,as recorded in CCFN:2017011315,OPRLCT,and out of Section 37, Block AK, Lubbock
County,Texas, and being more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the North line of Tract"B",The Esplanade,an Addition to the City of Lubbock,
Lubbock County,Texas,as recorded in CCFN: 2015032561, OPRLCT,for the Southwest corner of this
easement,whence a found 1/2" iron rod for the Northwest corner of said Tract"B", bears
N72-08'00"W,372.17 feet;
Thence N17°52'00"E,at 190.45 feet pass a found 1/2" iron rod with yellow cap(HRA)for the Southeast
corner of said Tract"A-1",continuing for a total distance of 200.62 feet to a point for a corner of this
easement;
Thence N72"08'00"W, 365.94 feet to a set 1/2"iron rod with blue cap marked DELTA RPLS 6684 in the
East line of a public access, underground utility and drainage easement described in said CCFN:
2017011315,for a corner of this easement;
Thence Northeasterly,with the arc of a non-tangent curve to the left, an arc length of 88.61 feet to a
point for the end of said curve to the left and for the Northwest corner of this easement;said curve
having a radius of 50.00 feet, a central angle of 101°32'37", and a chord that bears N57'06'06"E,a chord
distance of 77.46 feet;
Thence S72°08'00"E,346.95 feet to a point for the Northeast corner of this easement;
Thence S17°52'00"W, 260.62 feet to a point for the Southeast corner of this easement;
Thence N72'08'00"W,with the North line of said Tract"B", The Esplanade, an Addition,30.00 feet the
Point of Beginning.
