AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 7721 OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK,
WHICH AUTHORIZED A SPECIAL USE PERMIT IN ZONE CASE NO. 1865-F, ON A TRACT OF LAND
OUT OF SECTION 7, BLOCK E-2, CITY OF LUBBOCK, LUBBOCK COUNTY, TEXAS: ZONE
CASE NO. 1865-H, BY AMENDING THE SITE PLAN MADE A PART THEREOF; PROVIDING A
SAVINGS CLAUSE AND PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION.
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that after all notices have been given and
hearings held as provided by law, that it is in the best interest of the citizens
of the City of Lubbock to make the change in the zoning law as hereinafter set
forth: NOW THEREFORE:
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
SECTION 1. THAT Zoning Ordinance No. 7721 of the City of Lubbock BE and
is hereby amended so that the site plan made a part thereof shall be revised to
be in accordance with that site plan approved by the City Council on January
25, 1979.
SECTION 2. THAT the site plan describes.property more particularly
described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point which bears North a distance of 990 feet from the
Southwest corner of Section 7, Block E-2, City of Lubbock, Lubbock County,
Texas;
THENCE East a distance of 528 feet;
THENCE South 00°011 40" West a distance of 330 feet;
THENCE West a distance of 528 feet;
THENCE North 00°011 40" East a distance of 330 feet to the PLACE OF BEGINNING.
SECTION 3, THAT should any paragraph, sentence, clause, phrase or word
of this Ordinance be declared unconstitutional or invalid for any reason, the
remainder of this Ordinance shall not be affected thereby.
SECTION 4, THAT the City Secretary is hereby authorized to cause
publication of the descriptive caption of this Ordinance as an alternative method
provided by law.
AND IT IS SO ORDERED.
