RESOLUTION
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
THAT the City Council hereby accepts, on behalf of the City of Lubbock, a Special
Warranty Deed as described on Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein by
reference, from Betenbough Homes, Inc. for certain real property located in Section 28,
Block AK, Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas, and related documents. Said Street and
Public Use Dedication Deed is attached hereto and incorporated in this resolution as if
fully set forth herein and shall be included in the minutes of the City Council.

RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Betenbough Homes, LLC (the "Developer") is the developer of the Valencia
Park subdivision; and
WHEREAS, the Developer has improved certain property, as described in Exhibit "A," to
be utilized by the Valencia Park subdivision as a park (the "Park");and
WHEREAS, the Developer wishes to transfer ownership of the Park so that the Valencia
Park Public Improvement District (the "PID") can maintain the Park for use by the PID's
residents; and
WHEREAS, City of Lubbock (the "City") has the ability to own real property, such as the
Park; and
WHEREAS, the City's Parks and Recreation Department has inspected the facilities
constructed on the Park by the Developer and has deemed such to be satisfactory; NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
THAT the Board of the Valencia Park Public Improvement District does hereby
recommend that the City Council of the City of Lubbock accept the Park from the
Developer and approve the warranty deed that is attached and incorporated herein as
Exhibit"A."
