BLOC E-2., LUBBOCK COUNTY,.· TEXAS" ~ROM AN "R-2u TO AN "R-3rt ZQNING DISTRIC'l;; SUBJECT TO CONDITION,. WHEREAS .. the proposed change in zoning districts as hereinafter made has been duly presented to the Zoning and Planning Commission for its recommendatio which was received by the City Council and after due consideration.. the City Counci finds that making the proposed change as hereinafter set out will be in the public interest; and, WHEREAS, all conditions precedent required by law for a valid amendment to the Zoning Ordinance and Map have been fully complied with., as well as giving notices in compliance with Section 20 of Ordinanc_e No. 1695 as well as notices provided by Article lOllf,. Vernonts Annotated Civil statutes, amended in 1961 .. and notice was duly published in the Lubbock Morning Avalanche Journal more than fifteen ( 15) days prior to the date of the public hearing before the City Council on such proposed amendment, and the public hearing according to said notice was duly held in the City Council Room on the second floor of the City Hall,. Lubbock .. Texas., at which time persons appeared in support of the proposal; and.,. after said hearing, it was by the City Council determined that it would be in the public interest, due to changed conditions, that the Zoning Ordinance and the Zoning Map be amended in the manner hereinafter set forth in the body of this Ordinance and this Ordinance having been introduced in final written form prior to first reading hereof; NOW,. THEREFORE: BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK: SECTION 1. THAT Ordinance No. 1695 and the Official Zoning Map BE and the same are hereby amended as follows" to-wit: ZONE CASE NO,. 947-B J.. ·-\ Change a tract of land out of Section 4., Block E-2, Lubbock County., Texas,. from an rtR-211 to an "R-3" Zoning District. Property is further described to-wit: TRACT ONE BEGINNING at a point 42701 West and 259 1 North of the SE Corner of Section 4., Block E-2; THENCE North 1359t to a point; THENCE East 190s.! to a point; THENCE Southwesterly along a curve (with a radius of 2561) to the left 17 61 .! to a point; . .:. v THENCE South 1183 + to a point; ! THENCE West 1201 to the PLACE OF BEGINNING. Property is further described as Lots 242 through 261 of the preliminary plat of Tracy Heights Additiona approved by the Planning and Zoning Commission on May 6, 19 65, and on file in the office of the Secretary Planning and Zoning Commission. SUBJECT TO THE FOLLOWING CONDITION: That development be in accordance with the plan submitted at the hearing. Copy of said plan is on file in the office of the Secretary, Planning and Zoning Commission. and is hereby adopted and incorporated herein and made a part hereof. SECTION 2. THAT from and after passage and effective date of this Ordinance said lots, tracts and parcels of land described in Section 1 hereof shall be changed to the zoning district indicated and the Official Map is amended in accordance herewith.
