AN ORDINANCE ABANDONING AND CLOSING THAT PART OF AN EAST-WEST ALLEY
LYING BETWEEN 14TH AND 15TH STReETS AND 'WEST OF UTICA AVENUE, THAT PORTION OF
14TH STREET LYING WEST OF UTICA A VENUE, THAT PORTION OF AN EAST-WEST ALLEY BETWEEN
13TH AND 14TH STREETS WEST OF UTICA AVENUE,_ AND PORTIONS OF UTICA AVENUE LYING
SOUTH OF BROADWAY AND NORTH OF 15TH STREET, ALL AS DESCRIBED BY METES AND BOUNDS
IN THE BODY OF THIS ORDINANCE.

Y, SECTION 1. That those portions of the streets and alleys describad by
1 11 metes and bounds herein are here by abandoned and closed for street and alley
purposes. Such streets and alleys so closed are described as. follows, to-wit:
A. That portion of the East-West alley lying West of Utica Avenue
and between 14th and 15th Streets and more partiQ:illarly described as follows, to-wi :
That portion of the Southwest One-fourth (~) section
of Section 3, Block E-2, Lubbock County, Texas, which
is in the present City limits of Lubbock, Texas; the tract
of land being described as:
BEGINNING at a point which is 1845 feet North and
2580 feet East of the Southwest Corner of Section 3, Block E-2;
THENCE North Fifteen feet (151') to a point;
THENCE West 250 feet to a point;
THENCE South Fifteen feet {15') to a point;
THENCE East 250 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING.
B. That portion of 14th Str.eet lying West of Utica Avenue and more
partiaularly described as follows, to--witr
That portion of the Southwest One-fourth (SW,l) section
of Section 3, Block E-2, Lubbock County, Texas, which is
in the present City limits of Lubbock, Texas; the tract of'

THENCE West 250 feet to a point;

running East and West and being West of Utica AveHUe and more particularly

BEGINNING at a point which is 1765 feet North and 2640
feet East of the Southwest Corner of Section 3, Block E-2; THENCE North a distance of 609.82 feet to a point;
THENCE in a Southwesterly direction along a curve to the
right an arc distance of 61.16 feet, long chord bearing
South 82° 33.1' West a distance of 61.02 feet, (Rad. =
235.33 feet) to a point;
THENCE South a distance of 600 feet to a point;
THENCE East a distance of Sixty feet (60t J to the POINT
OF BEGINNING.

BEGINNING at a point which is 2415 feet North and 2590
feet East of the Southwest Corner of Section J, Block E-2;
THENCE North a distance of 130 feet to a point; THENCE East a dist ance of JJ.l7 feet to a point;
THENCE in a Southeasterly direction along a curve to the
right an arc distance of 24.79 feet to the P.C. of the
curve and a point, long chord bearing South 29° 15.9' East
a distance of 24.79 feet, (curve data -R = 317.94 feet;
L = 24.79);
THENCE on a bearing of South J1° 30t East a distance of
25.45 feet to a point;
THENCE South a distance of 79.08 feet to a point;
THENCE in a Southwesterly direction along a curve to the
left an arc distance of 60.04 feet, long chord bearing South
71° 47.1' West a distance of 59.80 feet, which is the P.C.

right an arc distance of 133.38 feat to a point long chord
bearing South 12° 01.4r East a distance of 132.28 feet,
{curve data -R = 317.94 feet; L = 133.38 feet);
THENCE West a distance of 26.66 feet to the POINT OF
BEGINNING.
