SECTION 1. That the following described area which includes the re - plat of Lamar Heights and described by metes and bounds as follows,t❑ witt BEGINNING at a point 2010 feet South of the Northwest Cor- ner of Section Fourteen (14), Block B, which point is in the west line of Section 14) Block B and is also in the ex- isting City Limit line; THENCE East 1320 feet to the center line of Gary Avenue; THENCE South along the center line of Gary Avenue 1310.31 feet to a point in Loth street which is the Southeast Corner of Lamar Heights Addition; THENCE West 1320 feet along the south line of the Lamar Heights Addition which is 45.31 feet south of and parallel to the south line of Blocks Seven (7) and Eight (8) of Lamar Heights A.dditionp .� 1320.0 feet to a point in the west line of Section 14, Block B, the center line of Indiana Avenue; THENCE North along said section line 1310.31 feet to the PLACE OF BEGINNING. ` BE, and the same is hereby annexed, to and included within the corporate limits of the City of Lubbock. SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be published in a daily newspaper, published in the City of Lubbock, Texas, one time, and shall not thereafter be finally acted upon until at least thirty (30) days have elapsed, after such publication, and if finally passed in its present form, the boundary limits of the City of Lubbock, Texas, shall hereafter be fixed and extended to include the extensions described, in Section 1 of this Ordinance. AND IT IS SO ORDERED. On motion of Commissioner Morris , seconded by Commissioner Thomas _ , and carried by the following vote: Commissioners voting "YEA": Morris, Carpenter= Davis, Thomas and.
