ORDINANCE NO. 5801 _......;;;;..;;....o...,;o __ AN ORDINANCE ABANDONING AND VACATING A TRANSFORMER PAD EASEMENT LOCATED ON LOT 229, TRACY HEIGHTS ADDITION TO THE CITY OF LUBBOCI). LUBBOCK COUNTY, TEXAS, AS MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRffiED HEREIN AND DIRECTING THE CITY EN"GINEER TO MARK THE OFFICIAL MAP OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK TO INDICATE THE VACATING AND ABANDONMENT OF SUCH TRANSFORMER PAD EASEMENT AS AFORE- SAID. WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the transformer pad easement located on Lot 229, Tracy Heights Addition to the City of Lubbock as hereinafter more particularly described~ is no longer needed for a transformer pad ease- ment or for other public use; WHEREAS, the City Council finds it would be to the public interest to vacate and abandon the same for a transformer pad easement purpose and to other public use; NOW THEREFORE: BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK: SECTION:.l. THAT the transformer pad easement located on Lot 229, Tracy Heights Addition as hereinafter described shall be and the same is hereby vacated and abandoned, for a transformer pad easement purpose: BEGINNING at the Northwest corner of Lot 229, Tracy Heights Addition; THENCE East 5 feet; THENCE South 3 feet; THENCE West 5 feet; THENCE North 3 feet to the point of BEGINNING. SECTION 2. THAT this vacating is expressly made subject to any and all other easements or reservations shown on the plat of said Addition. SECTION 3. THAT the City Engineer is hereby authorized and directed to mark the official map of the City of Lubbock to indicate that the transformer pad easement as described in Section 1 hereof., has been vacated and abandoned, showing the number of this Ordinance and the date of its final passage.
