5 THRU 11., BLOCK 16, OTNEALL TERRACE ANNEX., AN ADDITION TO THE CIT
OF LUBBOCK, LUBBOCK COUNTY, TEXAS., FROM AN "R ... 211 TO AN "R-3" ZON
ING DJSTRICT; AUTHORIZING THE JSSUANCE OF A SPECIFIC USE PERMIT.,
TO-WIT: PROFESSIONAL TYPE OFFICES ON SAID PROPERTY; SUBJECT TO
CONDITION; PROVIDING A SAVINGS CLAUSE AND PROVIDING FOR PUBLICA-
TION.
WHEREAS, the proposed change in zoning districts as hereinafter made has
een duly presented to the Zoning and Planning Commission for its recommendati
hich was received by the City Council and after due consideration, the City
ouncil finds that making the proposed change as hereinafter set out will be in the
ublic interest; and,
WHEREAS, all conditions precedent required by law for a valid amendment to
e Zoning Ordinance and Map have been fully complied with, as well as giving
o:tices in compliance with Section 20 of Ordinance No. 1695 as well as notices pro

WHEREAS, after re~iving the recommendations of the Planning and Zoning

ould be expedient and in the interest of the public health, morals, and general
elfare to authorize the granting of a Specific Use Permit as hereinafter set forth;
OW THEREFORE:
E IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
SECTION 1. THAT Ordinance No. 1695 and the Official Zoning Map BE and
he same are hereby amended as follows, to-wit:

Change the West 1/2 of Lot 4, and Lots 5 through 11, Block 16., O1Neall
Terrace Annex. an Addition, City of Lubbock,. Lubbock County, Texas,
from an "R-211 to an "R ... 311 Zoning District.
SECTION 2. THAT from and after passage and effective date of this Ordinanc
said lots. tracts and parcels of land described in Section 1 hereof shall be changed
to the zoning district indicated and the Official Map is amended in accordance here
with,
SECTION 3. THAT the Director of Planning or'the City of Lubbock is author-
ized to issue a Specific Use Permit tfj the Applicant in Zone Case No. 1569 in
accordance with the recommendations and conditions imposed by the Planning and
Zoning Commission, on file with the office of the Director of Planning, and the Cit
Council, which are hereby adopted and incorporated herein by reference for all pur
poses. provided said Applicant agrees to be bound by the terms of the Specific Use
Permit., the granting of which is hereby made subject to compliance to all provisio
of Zoning Ordinance No. 1695., an Ordinance of the City of Lubboc~ including parti
c-ttlarly but not limited to, Section 14-A of Zoning Ordinance No. 1695 within ten (1
months of the effective date of this Ordinance, the City Secretary-Treasurer shall

Ordinance be declared unconstitutional or invalid for any reason,. the remainder of
