HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance - 5484-1968 - Amending Zoning Ordinance 4404 By Repealing Condition Requiring Development... - 06/26/1968OUJ-:l.U> -1.9lo8 o7 - ' 1 -L s~ e, ORDINANCE NO. 5484 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 4404 BY REPEALIN THE CONDITION REQUIRING DEVELOPMENT OF THE PROPERTY DESCRIBED THEREIN, WHICH IS ADJACENT TO THE SOUTH RIGHT-OF-WAY LINE OF SOUT LOOP 289 AND WEST OF THE RIGHT-OF-WAY LINE OF UNIVERSITY AVENUE TO BE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE APPROVED SITE PLAN, AND BY ADDING CONDITIONS ESTABLJSlJING BUILDING SETBACK LINES AND PARKING PROVI- SIONS AND PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION. WHEREAS, the City Council finds that after all notices have been given and hearings held as provided by law, that it is in the best interest of the citizens of th City of Lubbock to make the change in the zoning law as hereinafter set forth, NOW THEREFORE: BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK: SECTION 1. THAT Condition No. 1 of Ordinance No. 4404 imposed on the following described property: ·. BEGINNING at the southeast corner of northeast 1/4, Section 12, Block E-2, Lubbock County, Texas; THENCE West 2640t to a point; THENCE North 680. at to a point in the south right-of-way line of Loop 289, City of Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas; THENCE North 89°57' east along said Loop 289 right-of-way, 1841. 3' to a point; THENCE South 84°20' east 548. 1 r along said Loop 289 right-of-way to a point; THENCE Southeasterly along said Loop 289 right-of-way along a curvature to the right, with a cord length of 315. 11 to a point; THENCE 60t east to a point in the east line of Section 12, Block E-2, Lubbock County, Texas; THENCE South 412. 1' to the PLACE OF BEGINNING. and which_condition reads as follows: "1. The land use of the above described property shall be developed in accordance with the site plan hereby approved and on file in the office of Secretary Planning and Zoning Commission. 11 THAT such condition BE and is hereby repealed. SECTION 2. THAT other and further conditions are hereby added which shall read as follows: 1. Development of such property shall observe a 43r setback from all property lines of such property. 2. Parking shall be provided in the ratio of 2 sq. ft. of parking for each sq. ft. of floor space in such development. SECTION 3. THAT the City Secretary is hereby authorized to cause publica tion of the descriptive caption of this Ordinance as an alternative method provided by law. AND IT IS SO ORDERED.
