ORDINANCE NO. 5465
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING OaDINANCE NO. 1695 AND THE OFFI-
IAL MAP OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK SO AS TO MAKE THE FOLLOWING
HANGE: ZONE CASE N0.1469-A: CHANGE A PART OF LOT 3, PADGETT-
ARSHAL SUBDIVlSION AN ADDITION, CITY OF LUBBOCK,' LUBBOCK COUNT .
EXAS, FROM A 11C-3" TO A "C-2" ZONING DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, the proposed change in zoning districts as hereinafter made has
een duly presented to the Zoning and Planning Commission for its recommendation

WHEREAS, all condition.s precedent required by law for a valid amendment to
he Zoning Ordinance and Map have been fully complied with, as well as giving noti s
compliance with Section 20 of Ordinance No. 1695 as well as notices provided by

uly published in the Lubbock Morning Avalanche Journal more than fifteen (15) day
rior to the date of the public hearing before the City Council on such proposed
mendment, and the public hearing according to said notice was duly held in the Cit
ouncil Room on the second floor of the City Hall, Lubbock, Texas, at which time
ersons appeared in support of the proposal; and, after said hearing, it was by the

ntroduced prior to first reading hereof; NOW THEREFORE:
E IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
SECTION 1. THAT Ordinance No. 1695 and the Official Zoning Map BE and
he same are hereby amended as follows, to .. wit:
ZONE CASE NO. 1469 ... A
Change a part of Lot 3, Padgett .. MarshaL Subdivision as Addition, City
of Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas, from a "C ... 311 to a "C ... 211 Zoning
District. Property is further described by metes and bounds to ... wit:
BEGINNING at a point on the south boundary of 34th Street, 75t west of
the northeast corner of Lot 3, Padgett .. Marshal Subdivision;
THENCE West 127f along the south boundary qf 34th Street;
THENCE South 1001 parallel to Knoxville Avenue;
THENCE East 201 parallel to 34th Street;
THENCE South 162.51 parallel to Knoxville Avenue;

SECTION 2. THAT from and after passage and effective date of this Ordin ...
