AH ORDIBANCE ABANDONING AND CLOSIH1 AN •t• ALLEI LYTNG IN THE WESl O!IE•
HALF (W. 1/2) OF BIOOK 166, ORIGINAL TOWN OF LUBBOCK, LUBBOCK COUNrY, TEXAS.
WHEREAS, duriJ:)g the year 1949 an allq was dedicated in the West One-Halt
(W.l/2) ot Block 166, Original Town ot Inbbock, in connection with a contem-
plated etructure which did not materialize, and the Ci~ Commission f!Dds that
all affected property owners have petitioned 1 t to abandon said al.1ey tor all
public purposes, and the City Commission ~er £inds that .-.a alley, as
described in the bod7 of this Ordinance, by metes &Dd b011Dd.a, faas not been
ueed as a public we:r and does not have azv utilities of au.r Dature aDd, further,
that no need exists tor maintenance of said alley for ~ public purpose and
the same should be abandoned, THEREFORE:
BE IT ORDAINED BI THE CI%Y COfJIIISSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCXs
SECTION l. 'l'HA1', the •v alley situated on the West One-Halt (W.l/2} ot
Block 166, OrigiDal Town ot Lubbock, Lubbock Couuty, Texas, be and. the 88JDI
is hereby abandoned and clos~; said allq being described h;r metes and bo\mds
