RESOLUTION
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
THAT the Mayor of the City of Lubbock is hereby authorized and directed to execute for and
on behalf of the City of Lubbock a Dedication Deed and two Drainage Easements in
connection with certain real property located in Section 4, Block O, Lubbock County, Texas
as described in Volume 1370, Page 314 of the Deed Records of Lubbock County, Texas, and
all related documents. Said Dedication Deed and Drainage Easements are attached hereto and
incorporated in this Resolution as if fully set forth herein and shall be included in the minutes
of the Council.

of Texas is the Owner (hereinafter referred to as the "Owner") of the following described real property:
METES AND BOUNDS DESCRIPTION of the plat limits of Tract "A", Police Department East
Substation Addition to the City of Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas, being further described as follows:
BEGINNING a point in the West line of Section 4, Block O, Lubbock County, Texas, for the Southwest
corner of this tract which bears N. 01°43'55" E. a distance of 164.94 feet from the Southwest corner of
said Section 4;
THENCE N. 01°43'55" E., along the West line of said Section 4, a distance of 254.37 feet to a point at
the Southwest corner of the plat limits of Block 33, Morrow Subdivision as recorded in Volume 325,

SUBSTATION ADDITION to the City of Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas" upon the Property for the
correct reference and description thereof as indicated upon the attached map, and does hereby adopt the
name hereinabove stated and impress the same upon the Property, incorporating said map as a part of this
dedication.
This instrument shall not be construed as an instrument of conveyance of any type, and the Owner
shall continue to own, subsequent to the dedication and platting, the same interest in the same parcel as
owned prior to this dedication and platting.
