AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 5 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANC
ITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS, (BEING THE BUILDING CODE) BY AMENDING
ECTION 5-2 THEREOF: PROVIDING FOR AN AMENDMENT TO SUB-SEC-
ION 4 OF SUB-SECTION (d) OF SECTION 503 OF THE UNIFORM BUILDING

WHEREAS, the City Council, after receiving the recommendations of the
uilding Board of Appeals, has :found that the changes indicated below would

E IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
SECTION 1. THAT Section 5-2 of Chapter 5 of the Code of Ordinances,

·ng Code, 1973 Edition, to read as follows:

ing. If an attic access is provided, such access shall have a
means of insuring access stability from draft, either by weights,
springs or a latching device. 11
SECTION 2. THAT should any section, paragraph, sentence, clause.

SECTION 3. THAT the City Secretary is hereby authorized to cause pub-
ication of the d?scriptive caption of this Ordinance as an alternative method
