AN ORDINANCE MAKING CHANGES IN THE FY 2003-04 BUDGET OF THE
CITY OF LUBBOCK FOR MUNICIPAL PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, Section 102.010 of the Local Government Code of the State of
Texas authorizes City Councils to make changes in budget for municipal purposes; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with the City Budget Ordinance the City Council
shall approve all transfers between funds, accounts, departments or programs for City
purposes: and
WHEREAS, the City Council deems it advisable to change the FY 2003-04
Budget for municipal purposes and reallocate funds as follows; NOW THEREFORE:
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
SECTION 1. THAT the City Council of the City of Lubbock hereby approves
the following changes to the City of Lubbock FY 2003-04 Budget for municipal
purposes:
Closing of Capital Projects in the General Fund with the remaining funds
of $165,514 allocated by the City Council as set forth in Exhibit "A",
attached hereto.
Allocating $115,486 from the Environmental Designation to fund the
Streets Building at Municipal Hill Capital Project.
Allocating $20,000 from Seized Drug Funds to fund a bomb suit for the
Police Department.
Changes to the Electric Fund budget as set forth in Exhibit "B", attached
hereto.
SECTION 2. THAT a copy of the changes made to the City of Lubbock Budget
pursuant to this Ordinance shall be filed with the City Secretary and County Clerk of
Lubbock as required by law.
AND IT IS SO ORDERED
