ORDINANCE NO. 7 522
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 6843 OF THE
CITY OF LUBBOCK: ZONE CASE NO. 1947-A~ CHANGING THE ZONING
ON A TRACT OF LAND OUT OF SECTION 44, BLOCK A_-:-_K, LUBBOCK
COUNTY, TEXAS, BY AMENDING CONDITION NO. 1 MADE A PART
THEREOF; PROVIDING A SAVINGS CLAUSE AND PROVIDING FOR
PUBLICATION.
WHEREAS., the City Council f.inds that after all notices have been
given and hearings held as provided by law, that it is in the best interest of
the citizens of the City of Lubbock to make the change in the zoning law as
hereinafter set forth: NOW THEREFORE:
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
SECTION 1. THAT Zoning Ordinance No. 6843 of the City of Lubbock
BE and is hereby amended so that Condition No. 1 .made a part thereof
shall be revised as follows:
1. That the property be developed in accordance with the site
plan approved by the City Council on August 25, 1977.
SECTION 2. THAT the property described in this Ordinance and also
in Ordinance No. 6843 is further described by metes and bounds as follows:
BEGINNING at a point which bears North 60.0 feet and
N 89°58 1 West, 40. 00 feet from the Southeast corner of
Section 44, Block A-K, Lubbock County, Texas;
THENCE North a distance of 2581. 34 feet, along the
we~terly right-of-way line of Frankford Avenue:
THENCE West a distance of 1127.06 feet to a point in
the East right-of-way line of Loop 289;
THENCE S0°05140u East, along the East right-of-way
line of Loop 289, a distance of 1714. 77 feet;
THENCE Sll 0 46 1: East along the easterly right-of-way
line of Loop 289 a distance of 710.00 feet, to a point of
curvature;
THENCE Southeasterly around a curve to the left~ said
curve having a radius of 215.00 feet. a delta angle of
78 °121, tangents of 174. 7 3 feet and a chord distance of
271. 19 feet;

THENCE 889°581 East. along the North right-of-way
line of 34th Street. a distance of 768. 98 feet to the
PLACE OF BEGINNING.
SECTION 2. THAT the amendment made in Section 1 hereinabove
shall apply only to the property described therein covered by Ordinance
No. 6843.
SECTION 3. THAT should any paragraph, sentence, clause, phrase
or word of this Ordinance be declared unconstitutional or invalid for any
reason~ the remainder of this Ordinance shall not be affected thereby.
SECTION 4. THAT the City Secretary is hereby authorized to cause
publication of the descriptive caption of this Ordinance as an alternative
method provided by law.
AND IT IS SO ORDERED.
