Funds/Amendmt 12 - 03/08/2006I First Reading March 8, 2006 Item No. 6.9 ORDINANCE NO. 2006-00031 Second Reading Karch 23 • 2006 Iteua No. 5.1 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE FY 2005-06 BUDGET FOR MUNICIPAL PURPOSES RESPECTING THE 1) GENERAL FUND; 2) DONATIONS FUND; AND 3) CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM. (AMENDMENT #12) WHEREAS, Section 102.010 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas authorizes the City Council to make changes in the budget for municipal purposes; and WHEREAS, in accordance with the City Budget Ordinance the City Council shall approve all transfers between funds and departments; and WHEREAS, the City Council deems it advisable to change the FY 2005-06 Budget for municipal purposes and reallocate funds as follows; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK: SECTION 1. THAT the City Council of the City of Lubbock hereby approves changes to the City of Lubbock Budget FY 2005-06 (Budget Amendment #12) for municipal purposes, as follows: 1. A transfer of $23,750 from the General Fund Balance to the Donations Fund to finance the Junior Ambassador Program for 2006. 2. A transfer of $25,600 from Capital Improvement Project #90096 -Dip Reconstruction to a new Capital Improvement Project in the Streets Capital Projects Fund for the City's participation in the construction of a concrete railroad crossing at A venue U and the BNSF Railroad. I SECTION 2. THAT a copy of the changes made to the City of Lubbock Budget pursuant to this Ordinance shall be filed with the City Secretary and County Clerk of Lubbock as required by law. AND IT IS SO ORDERED Passed by the City Council on first reading this 8th day of March, 2006. Passed by the City Council on second reading this 23nl day of March 2006.
