(AMENDMENT #2) WHEREAS, Section 102.010 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas authorizes the City Council to make changes in the budget for municipal purposes; and WHEREAS, in accordance with the City Budget Ordinance the City Council shall approve all transfers between funds, accounts, departments or programs for City purposes; and WHEREAS, the City Council deems it advisable to change the FY 2005-06 Budget for municipal purposes and reallocate funds as follows; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK: SECTION 1. THAT the City Council of the City of Lubbock hereby approves changes to the City of Lubbock Budget FY 2005-06 (Budget Amendment #2) for municipal purposes as follows: 1. Accept a $31,943 grant from the Texas Department of Transportation and appropriate the additional $10,940 to provide for mass transportation services to elderly individuals with disabilities (Citibus) in the Transit Fund. 2. Transfer one full-time position from the Water Reservoir cost center in the Water Fund to the Land Application Site cost center in the Wastewater Fund. No transfer of funding is necessary. SECTION 2. THAT a copy of the changes made to the City of Lubbock Budget pursuant to this Ordinance shall be filed with the City Secretary and County Clerk of Lubbock as required by law.
