ORDINANCE NO. 7117
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF A SPECIFIC USE
PERMIT, TO-WIT: ZONE CASE NO. 1893-A: CHANGE TRACTS A, B,
C, D, AND I, CORONADO LAKES ADDITION, CITY OF LUBBOCK, LUBBOC
COUNTY. TEXAS, AS SHOWN ON A PRELIMINARY PLAT ON FILE IN
THE OFFICE OF THE SECRETARY OF THE PLANNING AND ZONING
COMMISSION, FROM AN 11R-l11 TO AN 11R-l11 SPECIFIC USE PERMIT,
TO-WIT: TOWNHOUSES; PROVIDING A SAVINGS CLAUSE AND PROVIDING
FOR PUBLICATION.
I WHEREAS, after receiving the recommendation of the Planning and
Zoning f ommission and after due notice and public hearing and all matters
having oeen done and performed as required by Section 22 of Zoning Ordi-
1 nance No. 7084 of the City of Lubbock. (said Ordinance being an Appendix to I the Lubbock City Code) relating to Specific Use Permits. the City Council
finds ula.t due to changed conditions. it would be expedieil't and in the interes·t
of the public health., morals. and general welfare to authorize the granting of
a Specific Use Permit as hereinafter set forth; NOW THEREFORE:
BE IT G>RDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
I SECTION 1. THAT the Director of Planning of the City of Lubbock is
authoril ed to issue a Specific Use Permit to the Applicant in Zone Case No.
1893-A b accordance with the recommendations and conditions imposed by
the Plafuling and Zoning Commission, on file with the office of the Director o
Plannin~.. and the City Council which are hereby adopted and incorporated
herein 'l!>y reference for all purposes., provided said Applicant agrees to be
bound by the terms of the Specific Use Permit. the granting of which is
hereby m ade subject to compliance to all provisions.:::6f Zoning Ordinance No.
7084., ah Ordinance of the City of Lubbock. including particularly., but not
limited to Section 22 of Zoning Ordinance No. 7084 within twenty four (24)
months of the effective date of this Ordinance., the City Secretary-Treasurer
shall be and is hereby authorized and instructed,. upon written notice from
the Diri ctor of Planning that Applicant has not complied with the provisions.

The SpJ cific Use authorized by this Ordinance is for Townhouses. under
provisibn of Section 22. 3-2 of the Zoning Ordinance on the property des-
cribed below:

ZONE CASE NO. 1893-A
Change Tracts A, B, C, D, and I, Coronado Lakes
Addition, City of Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas,
as shown on a preliminary plat on file in the office
of the Secretary of the Planning and Zoning Commission,
from an "R-1" to an "R-1" Specific Use Permit, to-wit:
Townhouses.
SUBJECT TO THE FOLLOWING CONDITION:
1. A site plan and plat shall be submitted and approved
by the City Council prior to development of each tract.
SECTION 2. THAT from and after passage and effective date of this
Ordinance, said lots, tracts and parcels of land described in Section 1
hereof shall be changed to the Zoning District indicated and the Official Map
is amended in accordance herewith.
SECf ION 3. THAT should any Section, paragraph, sentence, clause,
phrase i~r word of this Ordinance be declared unconstitutional or invalid
for anyl reason, the remainder of this Ordinance shall not be affected 1
thereb1.
SECTION 4. THAT the City Secretary is hereby authorized to cause
publication of the descriptive caption of this Ordinance as an alternative
method provided by law.
