HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance - 2005-O0074 - Ordinance Making Changes In The FY 2004-05 Budget (Amendment #14) Municipal - 06/23/2005First Reading June 23, 2005 Item42 ORDINANCE NO. 200s-o0074 Second Reading July 14, 2005 Item 12 AN ORDINANCE MAKING CHANGES IN THE FY 2004-05 BUDGET OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK FOR MUNICIPAL PURPOSES. WHEREAS, Section 102.010 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas authorizes the City Council to make changes in the budget for municipal purposes; and WHEREAS, in accordance with the City Budget Ordinance the City Council shall approve all transfers between funds, accounts, departments or programs for City purposes; and WHEREAS, the City Council deems it advisable to change the FY 2004-05 Budget for municipal purposes and reallocate funds as follows; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK: SECTION 1. THAT the City Council of the City of Lubbock hereby approves changes to the City of Lubbock Budget FY 2004-05 (Budget Amendment #14) for municipal purposes as set forth, as follows: 1. Amend the Budget to establish a new capital project in the Traffic Capital Projects Fund in the amount of$110,000 for road improvements on West 19th. The funding will come from TxDOT reimbursement to the City of Lubbock for certain traffic signal equipment and installation cost at this intersection through an intergovenunental agreement as a separate agenda item on this city council agenda. 2. Appropriate fund balance of $95,683 in the Economic Development Fund to Market Lubbock. Fund balance in the amount of $95,683 will be forwarded to Market Lubbock. This will true up this pass-through of their share of the property tax. 3. Amend the Budget to transfer $262,980 from Condensate Collection Project to Gas Extraction System Project in the Solid Waste Capital Projects Fund for a new total budget amount of $762,980. I I SECTION 2. THAT a copy of the changes made to the City of Lubbock Budget pursuant to this Ordinance shall be filed with the City Secretary and County Clerk of Lubbock as required by law.
