BUILDING SET BACKS. GARBAGE COLL ECTION AND OTHER EASEMENTS J\S GRANTED BY PLAT IN LOTS 5-34. 35, 37. AND 38, ALEXANDER LAND ADDITION TO THE CITY OF LUBBOCK. LUBBOCK COUNTY, TEXAS ANO MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED TN THE BODY OF TIHS ORDINANCE: DlRECTING THE CITY ENGINEER TO MARK THE OFFICIAL MAPS OF THE CITY TO REPLECT SAID ABANDONMENT AND CLOSING: PROVIDING A SAVINGS CLAUSE: AND PROVIDING FOR PllBLICATION. WI IEREAS. the Cit} Council finds that the easements and streets as hereinatkr described in the body of this Ordinance are no longer needed for easement and street purposes and for public use; and it would be in the public interest to dose. vacate and abandon the same for easement and street purposes and for public use, and it vvoulcl be in the public interest to close. vacate and abandon the same: NOW Tl-lEREPORE: BE IT ORDAINED BY Tl IE CITY COUNCIL OF Tl IE CITY or LUBBOCK: SECTION I. THAT the easements and streets as hereinafter described shall l3E and the same are hereby closed, vacated and Hbandoned for east::ment and street purposes and for public use, such casements and streets being more particularly described in attached Exhibit --A." ~ECTION 2. Tl !AT the City Engineer is hereby authuriz1.:d and dir1.:cted to mark the of!icial maps of the City of Lubbock to rellect said abandonment and closing, shmving the number of this Ordinance and the date of its final passage. SECTION 3. THAT should any section, paragraph, sentence. phrase, clause or word or this Ordinance be declared unconstitutional or invalid for any reason, the remainder of this Ordinance shall not be affected thereby. SECTION 4.
