ORDINANCE NO. 2012-00141
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE FY 2012-13 BUDGET FOR MUNICIPAL
PURPOSES RESPECTING THE GRANT FUND TO ACCEPT AND
APPROPRIATE ADDITIONAL FUNDING FROM THE FEDERAL TRANSIT
ADMINISTRATION (FTA) FOR THE JOB ACCESS REVERSE COMMUTE
(JARC) GRANT AND ACCEPT AND APPROPRIATE ADDITIONAL FUNDING
FROM THE FTA FOR THE NEW FREEDOM MOBILITY MANAGEMENT
GRANT; PROVIDING FOR FILING; AND PROVIDING FOR A SAVINGS
CLAUSE.
WHEREAS, Section 102.010 of the Local Government Code of the State of
. Texas authorizes the City Council to make changes in the budget for municipal
: purposes; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with the City Budget Ordinance the City Council
shall approve all transfers between funds and departments; and
WHEREAS, the City Council deems it advisable to change the FY 2012-13
Budget for municipal purposes and reallocate funds as follows; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
SECTION I. THAT the City Council of the City of Lubbock hereby approves
I changes to the City of Lubbock Budget FY 20 I 2-13 (Budget Amendment # 12) for
municipal purposes, as follows:

I. Accept and appropriate an additional $9,915 from the FTA for the JARC
Grant for a total grant appropriation of $184,915, and transfer an additional
$9,915 local match from the Transit Fund to the Grant Fund for a local match
totaling $184,915. Reduce budget in cost center 4514, Fixed Route, by
$9,915.
II. Accept and appropriate an additional $8,957 from the FTA for the New
Freedom Mobility Management Grant for a total grant appropriation of
$73,957, and transfer an additional $8,034 local match from the Transit Fund
to the Grant Fund for a local match totaling $46,222. Reduce budget in cost
center 4515, Demand Response, by $8,034.
SECTION 2. THAT a copy of the changes made to the City of Lubbock
Budget pursuant to this Ordinance shall be filed with the City Secretary and County
Clerk of Lubbock as required by law.
SECTION 3. THAT should any section, paragraph, sentence, clause, phrase
or word of this Ordinance be declared unconstitutional or invalid for any reason, the
remainder of this Ordinance shall not be affected thereby.
