AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF A SPECIFIC USE PERMIT, TO-WIT: ZGNE
CASE NO. 1662-A; CHANGE A TRACT OF LAND OUT OF BLOCK 14, C. N. HODGES ADDITION, CITY
OF LUBBOCK, LUBBOCK COUNTY, TEXAS, FROM A-2 TO C-4 SPECIFIC USE PERMIT; PROVIDING A
SAVINGS CLAUSE AND PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION.
WHEREAS, after receiving the recommendations of the Plann~ng and Zoni~g Commissio
and after due notice and public hearing and all matters hav~ng been done and perfotme
as required by Section 22 of Zon~ng Ordinance No. 7084 of the City of Lubbock (said
Ordinance being an Appendix to the Lubbock City Code) relating to Specific UsePerm~s
the City Council finds that due to ch~nged conditions, it would be expedient and in
the interest of the public health, morals, and general welfare to authorize the I~'
granting of the Specific Use Permit for an office/warehouse complex as hereinafter
set forth; NOW THEREFORE:
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
SECTION 1. THAT the Director of Planning of the City of Lubbock is authorized t~.issue a Specific Use Permit to the Applicant in Zone Case No. 1662-A in accordance
with the recommendations and conditions imposed by the Plann~ng and Zon~ng Commission
on file with the office of the Director of Planning and the City Council which are
hereby adopted and incorporated herein by reference for all purposes, provided said
Applicant agrees to be bound by the terms of the Specific Use Permit, th~ grant~ngo£
which is hereby made subject to compliance to all provisions of Zoning Ordinance No.
7084, an Ordinance of the City of Lubbock, including particularly, but not limitedto
Section 22 of Zoning Ordinance No. 7084, which provides that a Specific Use Permit
and a Building Permit shall be applied for and secured within thirty-six (36) months
of the effective date of the zone change or all undeveloped property shall automati-
cally revert back to the previous zoning classification; and the Director of Plannin~
in such event is directed to remove from the Zoning Map the legend indicating such
limited use. The specific use authorized by this Ordinance is permitted under provi-

ZONE CASE NO. 1662-A
Change a tract of land out of Block 14 of the C. N. Hodges Addition,
City of Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas, from A-2 to C~4 Specific
Use Permit. This property is further described by metes and bounds
as follows:
BEGINNING at a point which is the original Northeast corner of
Block Fourteen (14) of the C. N. Hodges Addition to the City of
Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas;
THENCE South a distance of 657.66 feet;
THENCE West a distance of 3 feet;
THENCE North 41° 20' 25" West a distance of 873.03 feet;
THENCE North 0° 4' 55" East a distance of 3 feet;
THENCE South 89° 55' 511 East a distance of 579.67 feet to the
PLACE OF BEGINNING.
SECTION 2. THAT should any paragraph, sentence, clause, phrase or word of this
Ordinance be declared unconsitutional or invalid for any reason, the remainder of
this Ordinance shall not be affected thereby •
