TO A 11C-411 ZONING DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, the proposed change in zoning districts as hereinafter made
has been duly presented to the Zoning and Planning Commission for its
recommendation, which was received by the City Commission and after due
consideration, the City Commission finds that making the proposed change
as hereinafter set out will be in the public interest; and,
WHEREAS, all conditions precedent required by law for a valid amend-
ment to the Zoning Ordinance and Map have been fully complied with, as
well as giving notices in compliance with Section ZO of Ordinance No. 1695
as well as notices provided by Article lOllf, Vernon's Annotated Civil Statutes,
amended in 1953 and notice was duly published in the Lubbock Morning
Avalanche more than fifteen (15) days prior to the date of the public hearing
!>efore the City Commission on such proposed amendment, and the public hear-
ing aec~rding to said notice was duly held in the City Commission Room on the
first floor of the City Hall, Lubbock, Texas, at which time persons appeared
in suppor,:t of the proposal; and, after said hearing, it was by the City
Commission determined that it would be in the public interest, due to changed
conditions, that the Zoning Ordinance and Zoning Map be amended in the manner
hereinafter set forth in the body of this Ordinance and this Ordinance
having been introduced in final written form prior to first reading hereof; NOW
THEREFORE:
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
SECTION 1. THAT Ordinance No. 1695 and the Official Zoning Map
BE, and the same are hereby amended as follows, to-wit:
ZONE CASE NO. 665 : Change the following described property in the City
of Lubbock~ Lubbock County:~ Texas, from an 11R-111 to a C-41T zoning district:
BEGINNING at a point, said point being 54. Z feet north of the southwest corner
of Survey 3, Block A 1 Lubbock County~ Texas; (said southwest corner is 19
feet east and 19 feet north of a railroad spike set for the northeast corner
of Survey 4, Block 0 1 Lubbock County1 Texas);
THENCE north 407. 5 feet to a point;
THENCE east Z13. 7 feet to a point;
THENCE south 44° 07r east to a pcint, said point being north of, and lZO
feet from the north right-of-way line of Idalou Road;
THENCE south 45° 53t west 50 feet to a point;..

THENCE south 44° 07t east lZO feet to a point, said point being in the
north right-of-way line of Idalou Road~
THENCE in a southwesterly direction along said right-of-way line to the
poi nt of beginning. (Vicinity of East 4th Street and Idalou Road).
SECTION Z.. THAT from and after passage and effective date of this
ordinance, said lots, tracts and parcels of land described in Section 1 hereof,
shall be changed to the Zoning District indicated and the Official Map is
amended in accordance herewith.
