LUBBOCK COUNTY-. TEXAS,. FROM AN "R-211 TO A 11C-4" ZONING DISTRICT. (VICINITY OF AVENUE Q AND 49TH STREET); SUBJECT TO THE FOLLOWlNG CONDITION: 1. THAT A SIX FOOT VISUAL SCREEN- ING FENCE OR WALL BE CONSTRUCTED ALONG THE WEST PROPERTY LINE WHEN THE PROPERTY IS PLATTED FOR DEVELOPMENT, AND THE FUTURE PROPERTY LINE IS DETERMINED. PLANS FOR CONSTRUCTION OF SAID FENCE OR WALL SHALL BE SUBMITTED TO THE BUILDING INSPECTOR OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCKt, PRIOR TO CONSTRUCTION~ FOR InS APPROVAL. WHEREAS, the proposed change in zoning districts as hereinafter made has been duly presented to the Zoning and Planning Commission for its recommendation, which was received by the City Commission and after due consideration, the City Commission finds that making the proposed change as hereinafter set out will be in the public interest; and, WHEREAS, all conditions precedent required by law for a valid a~end­ ment to the Zoning Ordinance and Map have been fully complied with, ~s well as giving notices in compliance with Section 20 of Ordinance No. 1695 as well as notices provided by Article lOllf, Vernon's Annotated Civil Statutes~ amended in 1953 and notice was duly published in the Lubbock Morning Avalanche more than fifteen (15) days prior to the date of the public hearing before the City Commission on such proposed amendment, and the public hear- ing according to said notice was duly held in the City Commission Room on the first floor of the City Hall, Lubbock, Texas, at which time pe'i·sons appeared in support of the proposal; and, after said hearing, it was by the City Commission determined that it would be in the public interest, due to changed conditions, that the Zoning Ordinance and Zoning Map be amended in the man- ner hereinafter set forth in the body of this Ordinance and this Ordinance having been introduced in final written form prior to first reading hereof; NOW THEREFORE: BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK: SECTION 1. THAT Ordinance No. 1695 and the Official Zoning Map BE, and the same are hereby amended as follows~ to-wit: ZONE CASE NO. 664: Change the East 328. 75 feet of Lot 3, Block 32, Crump Five Acre Addition to the City of Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas, from an 11R-211 to a 11C-411 zoning district. (Vicinity of Avenue Q 1 and 49th Street)$ subject to the following condition: l. That a six foot visual screening fence or wall be constructed along the west property line when the property is platted for development, and the future property line is determined. Plans for construction of said fence or wall shall be submitted to the building inspector of the City of Lubbock, prior .to construction1 for his approval. SECTION Z. THAT from and after passage and effectiv e date of this ordinance, said lots., tracts and parcels of land described in Section 1 hereof, shall be changed to the Zoning District indicated and the Official Map is amended in accordance herewith.
