WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Lubbock flndl lt l• nee•

proved project, and this ordinan~e deals with the daily operation of City de•

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
There is hereby appropriated out of the illlowing described bond funci,
to•wit· ) · The 1956 Waterworks Improvement (Electric Fund
Th~ sum$ 3,450.00
For the following purpos e: To construct a 12,470 volt feeder line on the
same poles as the 691000 volt transmission line from the Vicksburg Substa-
tion northeast along the Seagraves branch of the P & SF R.R. to Raleigh Ave.,
then north to 17th st., then east to Quaker Ave., then mrth to 15th St.
This work '-s covered by EWO 12019, and is the ;FOles, towers, and fixtures
portion of this project. The conductors portion of this project is covered
by EW 12008 which was approved by appropriation ordinance .2102.
WHEREAS, an emergency exists as shown in the preamble to thia
ordinance. the enactment of this ordinance is declared to be an emer-
gency measure thereby creating a public necea.aity that the rule re-
quiring proposed ordinances to be presented at two (Z) separate com•
mission meetings be disp.ensed with; and this ordinance shall be effec-
tive from the date of its passage.
