I) ]4J~A6~ \~S, the proposed ch in zoning districts, as hereinafter made, has i been duly presented to the ning and Planning Qommiss~on for its recommendation, e: f-:t which recommendation wa eceived by the City Commission and, after due considera-
c~-~· .. /t.,, t;.. tion, the City Commission unanimously finds that making the proposed change as
r«-· r ·'' ' hereinafter set out will be in the public interest; AND,

u..-q--~. no. 661, as well as notices provided by Article lOllf, Revised Civil Statutes, as
1 amended, and notice was duly published on March 7, 8, and 9, 1950, and the ~ublic
.. l hearing according to said notice was hel<l at 1:30 o'clock, P. M., on March 2},1950,
'-' !1 in the City Commission room on the second floor of the City Hall, Lubbock, J.'exas.,
~ at which time persons appeared inmpport of the proposal, and after said hearing,
~, it was by the City Commission determined that it would be in the public interest
vq that the following Ordinance and the Zoning I~p be amended in substantial com-
C)-... pliance with the proposal, THEREFORE;
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMi\{[SSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
SECTION I: THAT, ORDINA!"fCE NO. 661, and the, official zoning map of the City
of Lubbock be_, and the same is hereby, amended as follows, to-wit::
1. To change Lo lis 1 through 8 in Granville Johnson Subdivision from an
"Aft District t~ an "F" District~
2. To change Blocks 1, 2 and 3 in Milton Addition from an "A" District

3. To change the North One-Half of Block 1 in the s. W. McGaw Addition,
from an "A• District to an "F" District.
4• To change Lots 1 through 5 in Block 1 of the J. A. Hodges Subdivision
from an "A" District to an 11L" District.
5. To change all of Blocks 1 and 2 in the Park Hill Addition from an 11A1•
District to a 11B" District.
6. To change the North One-Half of.Blocks 1, 2 and J, Lots 10 through 16
in Block 4, Lots 10 through 1.(> in Block 9, and Lots 9 and 10 in Blook
10 of the Berzy Addition from an "A" District to an "H'1 District.

SECTION ~~ THAT, Paragraph Two (2) of Section Fifteen (15) relating to the
depth of r~ar yards and "F" and '!Gtt Districts be, and the same is, hereby'
repealed.
SECTION 3: THAT, Paragraph Three (3) of Section Fifteen (15) of Zoning
Ordinance No. 661 be, and the same is hereby, amended to include "F" and "G"
Districts so that said Paragraph Three (3) relating to rear yard regulations shaLl
hereafter bep and read, as follows:
"In the "F rr na, n nH, n "J, n "K," "L," and ".M" Districts when property is not /;
used for dwelling purposes, and when not abutting on the rear on a Dwelling ~
District, no rear yard is required, if abutting on the rear on a Dwelling
District, "A," "B," "C," "D," or "E11 then a rear yard of at least ten (10) feet
is required."
From and after the passage and effective date of this Ordinance, said lot&
above referred to shall be changed to the Zoning District indicated, and the
official Zoning Map is hereby amended in accordance therewith; and Ordinance No.
661 is amended as provided in Section Three (3) hereof.
