SECTION l: From and after the passage of this Ordinance, it shall be unlawful
for any person to park, stop or stand any vehicl~ used, equipped or designed for 1
~.n the purpose of transporting explosives, within any residential district in the Ci~ LQ{~<f of Lubbock, provided,' however, that this provision shall not apply to any such ~Ll f vehicle when actually being serviced at Filli·ng Stations and garages when not carry

SECTION 2: The provisions ot Section 1 relating to stopping and standing said
vehicles shall not apply to a~ such vehicle when using the highways and streets
and stopping or standing on the highways and streets is done in response to traf-
fic signals or traffic devices, and such vehicles are at such time authorized b,y
the Railroad Commission of Texas, or the Interstate Commerce Commission, to
transport explosives over the Highways, and this Ordinance shall not be construed
as prohibiting necessar,y parking, stopping or standing of ~ such vehicle authori-
zed carriers in rendering actual pickup and delivery service.
SECTI01l 31 Airy person who shall violate ~ of the provisions of this Ordinance

The provisions of this Ordinance shall not be construed as in any
manner repealing or modif.1ing any Ordinance of the City of Lubbock relating to
liquefied petroleum gases of L.P.G., or any ordinances prohibiting the transporta-
tion of nitroglYcerine within the corporate limits of the City of Lubbock.
