LOT 9, BLOCK 1 AliD LOT 1, BLOCK 2, TO AN 11F" ZONE; LOTS 1 THROUGH 8, AND LOTS
10 THROUGH 29, BLOCK 1, LOTS 2 THROUGH .33, BLOCK 2, ALL OF BLOCKS 3 AND 4, AliD

WHEREAS, the proposed change in zoning districts, as hereinafter made, has
been duly presented to the Zoning and Planning Commission for its recommendation,
which recommendation was received by the City Co"-· A-on and, arter due considera-
tion, the City Commission unanimously finds thP ·. lng the proposed chang~, as
hereinafter set out, will be in the public int\ ~~; AND,
WHEREAS, all notices have been given'· in compliance with .?ection 25 or Ordipance
No. 661, as well as notices provided ~Article lOllf, Revised Civil Statutes, as ~
amended, and notice was duly published on February 21, 22 and 23, 19501 hnd the
public hearing according to said notice was held at 2~30 otoloc~, P. t~, on ~hrch
9, 1950, in the City Commission room on the second floor of the City Hall, Lubbock,
Texas, at which time persons appeared in support of the proposal, and, after said !~~f.ifi-hearing, it was by the City Commission determined that it ~1ould be in the public
interest .that the following Ordinance and the Zoning Map be amended in substantial

1. In Highland Place Addition, the following changes be made from a temporacy "A" Zonea
Lot 9, Block 1, and Lot 1, Block 2, to an trFtr Zone
Lots 1 through ~' and Lots 10 through 29, Block 1
Lots 2 through 33, Block 2, all of Block~ J and 4, and the
North One-Half (N.l/2) of Blocks 5 and 6, to a "Brt Zone;
2. In Westminster Heights Addition, the follo~ing changes be made from an "A•
Zone t o a "B" Zone:
Lots 1, 2, 3 and 4 in Block 1.
3. In Overton Addition, the following changes be made from a "B" Zone to a
'*C" Zonea
Lots 13, 14 and 15, in Block 21.
4• In Roles Subdi~ision, the following changes be made from an "A" District
to a "J" Zonel
Tract 1, Block 10.

5• In Roberts & McWhorter Addition, the f ollowing ehanges be made from an "Att
Zone to an "Eft Zonet
Blocks 66 and 67.
From and after passage and effeetive date of this Ordinanee, said lots
above referred to shall be ehanged to the Zoning Distriet and the offieial Zoning
Map i~ hereby amended in accordance herewith.
AND IT IS SO ORDERED.
