AD ORDIBABCE whereb7 the question of issuing bonds of this Oit7 1n the eum of $76,000.00 bearing aemi•annual interest at a rate not greater than 6 per cent., such bonds payable serially OYer a period not greater thau forty years from date of issuance, for the purpose of extending and improving the waterworks srtem of this City may be issued, .fixing, the date an 'Place of such election, providing for notice thereof, appointing the officers to hold the same, and declaring emergenc7 on account of the necessity of improvements in such eys- tem beouase of the iacrease of people to be served thereby. An election is hereby ordered to be held at the offioe of the City ~eoretary in this Oity on the 9th. day of December, 192~, at the usual hours. whereat the duly qualified p~8p­ erty taxpaying voters of this City may determine if bonds of the ity sh$11 be issued as hereafter set out. Suoh bonds shall be in the sum of $75,000.00 and bear interest payable semi•annually at a rate not greater than 6 per cent. whtch mature over a period not greater than forty rears for the purpose of extending and i,roTing the . A duly certified copy of this Ordinance published ln a newspaper in this City ant posted at three public places within the City, as retuired by law for thirty days preceding such election shall be sufficient notice thereof. Section 1. Those desiring to Tote in favor of the issu- ance of such bonds shall have written or printed on their ballots - "Por the issuance of e7s.ooo.oo of Waterworks Bonds and for the leYy of a tax sufficient to pay the interest as it accrues and for a sink- ing fund to retire the bonds at their maturity".
