Certain Revisions To The Urban Renewal Plan For Memorial Center - 07/26/1984, , LJM:da Agenda Item #23 7.-26-84 Agenda Item #13 8/9/84 ORDINANCE NO. 8644 ----- AN ORDINANCE Of THE CITY COUNCIL Of THE CITY Of LUBBOCK APPROVING AND ADOPTING CERTAIN REVISIONS TO THE URBAN RENEWAL PLAN FOR THE MEMORIAL CENTER COMPLEX URBAN RENEWAL PROJECT NO. TEX R-138(C). WHEREAS, Certain Revisions to the Urban Renewal Plan for the Memorial Center Complex Urban Renewal Project No. TEX. R-138(C), hereinafter set forth as Exhibit A and consisting of a revised project boundary descrip- tion, a revised project boundary map, a revised land use map, and a revised acquisition map, has been reviewed by and approved by the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Lubbock and by the Urban Renewal Agency of the City of Lubbock; and WHEREAS, the proposed revisions to the Urban Renewal Plan conform to the general plan of development of the City as a whole and is compatible to the existing and proposed land uses, the thoroughfare plan, and recrea- tional and community facilities of the area; and WHEREAS, the proposed revisions to the Urban Renewal Plan will afford maximum consistent with the sound needs of the City as a whole, for the rehabilitation or redevelopment of the Urban Renewal Area by private enterprise; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL Of THE CITY Of LUBBOCK: THAT Certain Revisions to the Urban Renewal Plan for the Memorial Center Complex Urban Renewal Project No. TEX. R-138(C), designated as Exhibit A to this Ordinance, be and are hereby approved and adopted. AND IT IS SO ORDERED.
