Proponent: Burl Masters This request is to delete the prohibition pertaining to gamerooms as stated in Ordinance 8383--condition #7--to accommodate a Pizza Restaurant at the referenced location, with coin-operated machines being allowed as an accessory, and not as a stand-alone installation. This position was strongly supported by the surrounding neighborhood, and Proponent was amenable to it at the P&Z hearing. Adjacent land uses are: existing commercial retail on the north and west; existing mobile home park on the south; vacant C-4 on the east. It is understood that the stand-alone gameroom as stated in Condition #7 in Ordinance 8383 remains in effect, but would be allowable as an accessory ONLY to the restaurant. There being no opposition, and no discussion, the hearing was closed. The motion was made by Councilwoman Baker, seconded by Councilman Brown to uphold P&Z with the condition as stated, and to pass ORDINANCE 8565 ON FIRST READING.
