AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK APPROVING AND
ADOPTING AN AMENDMENT TO THE URBAN RENEWAL PLAN FOR LUBBOCK NEIGHBORHOOD
DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM NO. TEX. A-14(C), FOURTH ACTION YEAR, PHASE II.
WHEREAS, an Amendment to the Urban Renewal Plan for Lubbock Neighborhood
Development Program No. TEX. A-14(C), Fourth Action Year, Phase II, herein-
after set forth as Exhibit A, and made a part hereof has been reviewed by and
approved by the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Lubbock and by
the Urban Renewal Agency of the City of Lubbock; and
WHEREAS, the proposed Amendment to the Urban Renewal Plan conforms to the
general plan of development of the City as a whole and is compatible to the
existing and proposed land uses, the thoroughfare plan, and recreational and
community facilities of the area; and
WHEREAS, the proposed Amendment to the Urban Renewal Plan will afford
maximum opportunity consistent with the sound needs of the City as a whole,
for the rehabilitation or redevelopment of the Urban Renewal Area by private
enterprise; NOW THEREFORE:
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
THAT the Amendment to the Urban Renewal Plan for Lubbock Neighborhood
Development Program No. TEX. A-14(C), Fourth Action Year, Phase II, designated
as Exhibit A to this Ordinance, be and is hereby approved and adopted.

EXHIBIT "A"
Exhibit URP II, entitled "Proposed Land Use and Existing Fixed Major Cir-
culation Routes" is amended in respect to the property located north of
Baylor Drive and east of North Avenue "U", specifically designated as Lot 1,
Block 2, Robert A. Jones Subdivision to the City of Lubbock, Lubbock County,
Texas changing its proposed land use from public and semi-public to heavy
commercial.
