AN ORDINANCE ABANDONING AND CLOSING THE NORTH-SOUTH ALLEY
P N THE WEST PART OF LOT 3, BLOCK 9, MCCRUMMENS SECOND ADDITION
1TO THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, LUBBOCK COUNTY., TEXAS., AS MORE PARTI-
iCULARLY DESCRIBED IN THE BODY OF THE ORDINANCE AND DIRECTING

[BOCK TO INDICATE THE CLOSING AND ABANDONMENT OF SAID PROPERTY.
! WHEREAS., the City Council finds that the North-South alley :on the West part

of Lot 3, Block 9, McCrummens Second Addition to the City of Lubback, Lubbock
ounty, Texas as hereinafter described is no longer needed for alley purposes
r for public use; and,
j WHEREAS, the City Council finds it would be to the public interest to close.,
tacate and abanckiri the said alley for all purposes and for public use; NOW
HERE FORE:
E IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
I SECTION 1. THAT the North-South alley on the West part of Lot 3,
b 1ock 9, McCrummens Second Addition to the City of Lubbock, Lubbock County,
1Texas as hereinafter described shall be and the same is hereby closed, vacated
pnd abandoned for street and alley purposes and for public use; said tract of
and being more particularly described as follows., to-wit;
BEGlliNING at the Northwest corner of Lot 3, Block 9, McCrummens Second
Addition to the City of Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas;
THENCE South 140 feet to the Southwest corner of said LoJ3;
THENCE East 22. 5 feet to a point;
THENCE North 45°01 West 10. 6 feet to a point;
THENCE North 132. 5 feet to a point in the North line of said Lot 3;
THENCE West 15 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING.
The above ... described alley is the same one which was dedicated by instru-
!ment dated April 18, 1950 and recorded in Volume 412, Page 510 of the Deed
!Records in Lubbock County, Texas.

I SECTION.2. ·THAT the City Engineer is hereby authorized and directed to
1mark the Official Map of the City of Lubbock to indicate that the alley as
described in Section 1 hereof has been closed and abandoned, showing the number
of this Ordinance and the date of its final passage.
AND IT IS SO ORDERED
