AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2183 SO AS TO
CHANGE CONDITION 2 IN SECTION 1 OF SAID ORDINANCE TO ELilVIINATE
THE BUILDING SET BACK LINE; AMENDING NO. 2215 SO AS TO CHANGE
CONDITION 2 OF SECTION 2 OF SAID ORDINANCE SO AS TO ELIMINATE
BUILDING SET BACK LINE; BarH PERTAINING TO TRACT A., MONTEREY
CENTER ADDITION AS MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED IN THE BODY
OF THIS ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS. the City Council finds., after all notices have been given
and hearings held as provided by law., that it is in the best interests of the citize ns
of the City of Lubbock to make the change in the zoning law as hereinafter set
forth., NOW THEREFORE:
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
SECTION 1. THAT Condition 2 in Section 1 of Ordinance No. 2183
which reads as follows:
112. That at least 200 feet be kept clear fo:c parking on 50th
Street as measured from the future property line as and when
finally cMermined,. and at least 200 feet be kept clear for
parking on Elgin and Gary Avenue on both tracts of land
(TRACTS 1 and 2) as measured from the future property
lines of Elgin and Gary Avenues as and when finally deter-
mined and on 54th Street as measured from the existing
property line. This condition shall not apply to the east
three and one-half acres of Tract 1 adjacent to 54th Street
and Elgin Avenue., if this acreage is used for church purposes."
BE and the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
112. All future development shall conform to the site plan
submitted to the Planning and Zoning Commission on March
2., 1967. II
SECTION 2. THAT Condition 2 in Section 2 of Ordinance 2215 which
reads as follows:
112. That at least 200 feet be kept clear for parking on Elgin
and Gary Avenues as maasured from the future property lines
of Elgin and Gary Avenues as and when finally determined. 11
BE and the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
112. All future development shall conform to the site plan
submitted to the Planning and Zoning Commission on March

SECTION 3. THAT the site plan submitted to the Planning and Zoning
Commission on March 2., 19 67 ~ and referred to in Sections 1 and 2 hereinabove.,
is attached hereto and is hereby adopted and made a part hereof and it :is directed
that a copy shall be kept on file in the office of the Planning Director.
