SUBJECT TO CONDITIONS~\ WHEREAS, the proposed change in zoning districts as hereinafter made ha been duly presented to the Zoning and Planning Commission for its recommendati • which was received by the City Council and after due consideration, the City Coun il finds that making the proposed change as hereinafter set out will be in the public interest; and, WHEREAS, all conditions precedent required by law for a valid amendmen to the Zoning Ordinance and Map have been fully complied with, as well as giving notices in compliance with Section 20 of Ordinance No. 1695 as well as notices pr .. vided by Article lOllf, Vernon1s Annotated Civil Statutes, amended in 1961, and notice was duly published in the Lubbock Morning Avalanche Journal more than fif teen (15) days prior to the date of the public hearing before the City Council on su proposed amendment, and the public hearing according to said notice was duly hel in the City Council Room on the second floor of the City Hall, Lubbock, Texas, at which time persons appeared in support of the proposal; and, after said hearing, i was by the City Council determined that it weuld be in the public interest, due to changed conditions,. that the Zoning Ordinance and the Zoning Map be amended int e manner hereinafter set forth in the body of this Ordinance and this Ordinance ha g been introduced prior to first reading hereof; NOW THEREFORE: BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK: SECTION 1. THAT Ordinance No. 1695 and the Official Zoning Map BE an the same are hereby amended as follows, to ... wit: ZONE CASE NO.. 1443 I Change Lots 353 through 359 and East 1/2 of Lot 360, Benhall Manor Additi0n., City of Lubbock., Lubbock County, Texas, from "R ... 3" and 11c .... 2A11 to "c ... 3ct Zoning District; SUBJECT TO THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS: 1. A solid st permanent type screening fence shall be constructed and permanently maintained along the North property line;. to be constr ted concurrently with or prior to the. first buildin~ permit. 2. All lighting, including lighted signs, shall be shielded to; or designed to direct the light away from adjacent residentially zoned property. SECTION 2. THAT from and after passage and effective date of this Ordinance1 said lots, tracts and parcels of land described in Sectiol\_\hereof shall be changed to the zoning district indicated and the Official Map 1s 1amended in accordance herewith.
