We proposed that th'ls rate begin In June of 1980 iri order to help cover the
debt service on the bonds to be sold in June.
lncr·eases in the rate will be necessary each year as long as Inflation pe.rsist.
Increase in the rate to service this additional debt will be necessary for o~ly
the next three years.
The portion of the rate increase requl red to service this debt are .as
follows: .. :."
October; 1980 16% .. October, 1981 12%
October, 1982 10%
These are maximum amounts. If a good growth rate continues, the rate increase
would be approximately 2t to 3% less than the maximum. If interest rates
improve the rate increase would be even less •.
·financing of the Post-Justiceburg projects will need to be considered in
addition to this financing plan after'the permit is received and the project
is approved. Annual rate increases will also be necessary to finance the
Post-Justiceburg projects.
