WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the street portions
hereinafter described are no longer needed for street purposes and for
public use; and ·
WHEREAS, the City Council finds it would be in the public interest
to close, vacate and abandon the same for street purposes and for public
use; NOW THEREFORE:
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
SECTION 1. THAT the street portions as hereinafter described shall
BE and the same are hereby closed, vacated and abandoned for street
purposes and for public use:
A portion of 66th Street located in Section 36, Block A-K,
Lubbock County, Texas, being further described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point which bears N. 00°00 1 30" E. a distance
of 40.00 feet and N. 89°59 1 W. a distance of 155.00 feet from
the Southeast corner of Section 36, Block A-K, Lubbock
County, Texas;
THENCE N. 89°59 1 W. a distance of 75.00 feet;
THENCE S. 00°00 13011 W. a distance of 4.00 feet;
THENCE N. 86°57 1 5011 E. a distance of 75.11 feet to the POINT

1 SECTION 2. THAT the City Engineer is hereby authorized and
1, directed to mark the official maps of the City of Lubbock to indicate 11,

f SECTION 3. THAT should any section, paragraph, sentence, phrase,
clause or word of thi$_0rdinance be declared unconstitutional or invalid
