ORDINANCE NO. 6646
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 5396 OF THE CITY OF
l.J:VBBOCK, WHICH COVERED ZONE CASE NO. 1511, BY AMENDING THE CON-
DITIONS IN SUBSECTION F OF SECTION 1 THEREOF AS APPLIED TO LOTS 1
AND 103, BUSTER LONG ADDITION, CITY OF LUBBOCK, ONLY; PROVIDING
A PENALTY; PROVIDING A SAVINGS CLAUSE AND PROVIDING FOR PUBLICA-
TION.
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the changes in conditions
required in the zone case as shown below would be in the best interest of the
citizens of the City of Lubbock; NOW THEREFORE:
BE IT ORDAIN"ED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
SECTION 1. THAT Sub-section F .1. of Section 1 of Ordinance No. 5396 of
the City of Lubbock, be and is hereby amended by amending conditions a, b, c
and e thereof as such conditions apply to Lots 1 and 103, Buster Long Addition,
City of Lubbock and adding new conditions hand i to apply to this subject propert
so that such conditions shall read as follows:
"a. That an 801 building set back from the Slide Road property
be observe d.
b. (shall not apply to this subject property.)
c. That a 2. 2 to 1 parking ratio of paved off-street parking area
be maintained.
e. (shall not apply to this subject property.)
h. Service station pumps shall be constructed no closer than 43'
to the Slide Road property line.
i. No free standing sign shall be constructed on Lot 1."
SECTION 2. The changes in conditions set forth above shall apply only to
the property stated therein and shall not change or invalidate the existing conditio
placed on the property described in Ordinance No. 5396.
SECTION 3. THAT any person, firm or corporation owning or operating the
subject property failing to comply with the conditions imposed by Section 1 hereof ,
shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be subject to a
fine not to exceed TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS and each and every day's violation
thereof shall constitute a separate and distinct offense.
The failure of any corporation owning or operating the subject property to
comply with any of the conditions imposed by Section 1 hereol' shall render the
President, Vice-President, General Manager, Local Manager and Local Agent
liable to the penalty prescribed in this section.

SECTION 4. THAT should any section, paragraph~ sentence, clause, phras
or word of this Ordinance be declared unconstitutional or invalid for any reason1
the remainder of this Ordinance shall not be affected thereby.
SECTION 5. THAT the City Secretary is hereby authorized to cause public

by. law.
